If Contraception is "Preventative Medicine"...

I realize this is a bit old, but in case anyone else comes across it...

For contraception to be "preventative medicine" then:

- polycystic ovary syndrome (cysts in the ovaries, leading to a whole host of other problems including infertility)
- endometriosis (uterine lining on the ovaries or fallopian tubes, often very painful)
- adenomyosis (uterine lining IN the muscles of the uterus, leads to heavy, painful periods)
- menstruation-related anemia (low iron producing faintness)
- painful or irregular menstruation

must also be diseases. And they are. I get the point the graphic makes, but not everyone on BC is taking it for contraception.
