Cardinal DiNardo On Justice

Cardinal DiNardo is a skillful orator.  We here at St. Mary's have been blessed to have him visit us twice already.  Last year he took part in St. Mary's Distinguished Speaker Series, so it is not a surprise that he once again hits it out of the park.  Just a small snip of his homily given to Catholic lawyers at the Red Mass in Washington (including most of the Supreme Court).
The many smoldering wicks are our "clients" but more than clients. They are poor and wealthy, confused and lucid, polite and impolite. In some cases the clients are voiceless for they lack influence; in others they are literally voiceless, not yet with tongues and even without names, and require our most careful attention and radical support.
