Anti-Catholic Bill in Conn.

I don't think I have ever seen such a blatant attack on the governance of the Catholic Church from US citizens who hold political power, as is found in this bill in Connecticut. Bishop Lori from Bridgeport is going after it hard.
As is usually the case AmP is all over it.

There goes the seperation of Church and State.

There's some intriguing backstory on the two legislators who introduced this, and Supreme Knight Carl Anderson did an excellent job railing against this as well.

Even a number of non-Catholics and the whole CT State Republican Caucus have come out against it.

It goes to wonder, how far will this sick bill go before it dies its ignoble death?

This is really amazing, the only place I heard of stuff like this happening is China. I can't even imagine something like this happening in Europe. We've come a long ways as a country.
