It's when you find when somethings speed is a instant in time. It's like when you look at the speedometer of a car you see the speed you are moving at during that instant in time. If you had an equation that showed where your care was compared with time taking the derivative would show you your speed. Likewise taking the derivative again would show you your acceleration. It's so easy to do even a high schooler can do it. The weird one is Linear Algebra.
